On a sunny day, I encountered a baby mantis.
It was super tiny!

Mantises are such intriguing creatures, and I've always wanted to create a short animated film about their life. I'm not sure when it will happen.... but for now, I've rendered this little shot. :)

2024 may be the Year of the Dragon, but I kicked off the new year with a project on a fresh lil mantis. It's a small and humble project, but I hold a great deal of affection for it.
I'm eagerly anticipating evolving it into various artworks in the future.
